Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K-Source Snap and Zap custom fit towing mirrors here on a 2017 Toyota Sequoia. Now for starters, in regards to fit, you need to be aware that these particular custom fit towing mirrors do not fit the platinum or the limited models. But every other model or sub model, you're gonna be good with whether it's the SR5, the SR, or so forth. So here is what our towing mirrors look like installed in the vehicle. And to be honest, if you didn't know what a towing mirror was, you probably wouldn't be able to tell this apart from the factory mirrors, and that's due to the custom fit design here. It's gonna match all these body lines to make for a very tight fit, and it's also gonna have pretty much the same color as these little moldings here. more

Longview Driver and Passenger Side Custom Towing Mirrors Review- Video

Sometimes you're hauling stuff and you wanna see it a little bit more, so the Longview Custom Fit Towing Mirrors are gonna be a great way to do that, just use the fit guide, which is at the center on the top of our website, put your vehicle's year, make, and model in, and that'll hook you up with the correct set that'll fit your specific vehicle. Before I go over features, they don't look too bad, they do have a decent amount of knobs and stuff on the sides, but the ABS plastic really does match the OEM look, you can't really tell a whole lot of difference, and if you can tell a little bit of difference, you gotta remember, this is an older vehicle and these are brand new, so this is a little bit glossier, but the whole finish to it is the same, so it's not really gonna stick out like a sore thumb, which is something I'm looking for. The only thing I can say bad about these is just the knobs, it's somewhat of an eyesore, but since they're black and not that big, it doesn't really stick out that much. When it comes to the mirror, it's not gonna be as big as the mirror on your vehicle most likely, but as far as dimensions go, the width is going to be 5 1/2 inches wide, and the height is going to be 4 3/8 inches. And it is gonna be able to pivot up, down, right, and left just like the ones on your vehicle, but these are not gonna be powered, they're not gonna be heated or anything like that. And this is a flat mirror, meaning whatever it sees, it's gonna show the same exact as what it actually is. more

Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1999 to 2007 Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs, and because it fits so many different models, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this is an extendable towing mirror, you can see you can pull it out and extend it out about 4 1/2 inches. This will replace the factory's driver's side view mirror on your vehicle, so there's no need for any of the snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off or tighten them. Both mirrors are independently adjustable, let's see how they look. So your standard mirrors are going to allow you to see down the side of your vehicle all the way to the end of your trailer, but with your towing mirrors, it is going to expand your field of view, allowing you to see the other vehicles in the other lanes, so not only is it going to give you the peace of mind, allowing you to back in and park easier and safer, it's going to allow you to switch lanes, and just overall keep everybody a lot safer. Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Review- Video

I'm not a hundred percent confident whenever I'm hauling something like this in the back. So the long view, custom fit towing mirrors is gonna help me see a little bit more. So I'm not just white knuckling the wheel all the way to my destination. So you can see my view in my normal mirror. and you can kind of see in the CIPA mirror, but when I'm turning is really what I'm looking for. Just because this is a lot of length that I'm not used to. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Review- Video

So I am not too comfortable hauling a trailer behind my vehicle. So I grabbed the CIPA custom fit towing mirrors to kinda give me a better view. So what we're gonna do is go driving and see if it's really gonna put my mind at ease. So you can see my view in my normal mirror and you can kind of see in the CIPA mirror, but when I'm turning is really what I'm looking for, just because this is a lot of length that I'm not used to. So it's getting those tight corners. I'm getting better at the wide turns, but sometimes when you're in these crazy situations just like the parking lot really. more

This is gonna be a slip-on towing mirror. So, what this means is it's gonna slide over your existing towing mirror and attach with this clamp here. Just one clamp that you tighten down, it holds it in place. I can shake the mirror back and forth and you can see there's no rattling or movement from the separate added on mirror. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2020 Ford F-150- Video

Today, we're taking a look at the K source universal towing mirrors on our 2020 Ford F150 The mirrors on our Ford F150 are pretty big. The one on the factory mirror of our F150 is a flat mirror. And as you can see as I go over, I seem to be a little bit more far away with the universal K source mirror, and that's just because of the shape of the mirror. And when it comes to towing mirrors, it's not just about you being able to see what you're hauling, it's also about other people as well. So you're gonna be able to see those people in the other lanes a little bit more clear. So it's gonna keep everybody on the road a lot more safe, and just give you a nice relaxing ride knowing that you can see everything around you. more

Our factory mirrors on our Ford F-150 are relatively big but the towing mirrors are definitely gonna help. It's not just for you the longer loads you're hauling, it's also just for the other people around you. The more you can see you, the more safe you'll feel whenever you're driving down the road. So it's gonna give you a little bit more of a relaxing drive, and then also everybody else on the road is gonna be much more safe when you have more view of the road. K-Source Snap and Zap Driver and Passenger Towing Mirrors Installation - 2021 GMC Canyon- Video

Hey everybody, how's the going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K Source Snap and Zap Custom Fit Towing Mirrors here on a 2021 GMC Canyon. So to give you guys a better visual of what you're really gonna be seeing behind the driver's seat. So right now I'm standing directly beside the trailer. You can clearly see me in the factory mirror but if I out a couple feet away from the trailer which would sort of mimic the blind spots, when driving out in the highway a vehicle coming up on us, you can see we actually lose focus out of our factory mirror but now I come into focus of our aftermarket mirror. So now, if we see a vehicle here we know they're obviously we can't get over but if we don't see anything that would've safe to our blind spot is clear and we can successfully merge over. So that's really one of the biggest benefits I see of these towing mirrors here. more

So this is not only gonna look the best. It's also gonna provide us with a tightest fit and a tight fit with towing mirrors is important because that's gonna lead to less distortion and a clear view. With some of those universal towing mirrors that use straps, they really have a tendency to vibrate when you're on the highway and distorting your vision is not something you want because what's the point of having a mirror. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K Source custom towing mirrors here on our 2021 Ram 1500. So this is what our towing mirror is gonna look like installed on our vehicle. So this actually is specifically contour to the shape of our factory mirror. With a lot of the universal towing mirrors that use those little bulky straps that go around there and although they will fit every vehicle, they don't necessarily fit everyone well. With a custom fit towing mirror like we have here, as we said, everything is specifically contoured to the shape of the factory mirror. And this not only makes for the best overall appearance, it's also gonna make for the tightest fit. more

CIPA Driver and Passenger Side Towing Mirrors Installation - 2021 Ram 1500- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CIPA Custom Fit towing mirrors here on our 2021 Ram 1500. So towing mirrors are a great addition to your truck here if you find yourself to be towing frequently. Now obviously they're gonna extend our field of view, but two situations that I particularly find that to be most useful in is when you're driving on the highway, chances are when you're pulling your trailer you're not quite traveling at most normal highway speeds such as other traffic. Therefore vehicles are gonna come up on you quite fast, and you may need to get over to get your exit. And it's really just kinda hard to judge how fast those vehicles are going if they're in your blind spot or if you can get over and in time. It really is not a comfortable feeling when you have it towing a trailer, especially if you're not comfortable with it, if you don't tow often. more
